Myślibórz is situated on the east shore of the Myślibórz Lake, in the southwest part of the Zachodniopomorskie province.

The city and commune are located in a tourist attractive area, with numerous and extensive woodlands and lakes. The most noteworthy among them is the Myślibórz Lake, with area of 6.14 sq km, providing and excellent conditions for sailing, kayaking as well as other water sports.
Numerous regattas and international boat races are organized on the lake throughout the year, Leonid Teliga Regattas and the Myślibórz Lake Blue Ribbon Regattas being the most recognized and well known.
Water sports are sponsored by the „SZKUNER” Interscholastic Sports Centre, operating a marina with broad infrastructure of water equipment.
The Centre organizes guided pleasure boat tours, as well as yachtsman courses and training camps for youth. It provides a total of 32 accomodations.
Another resort providing accomodations is the Scout's Camp (Szarych Szeregów Street), located in a picturesque viccinity of the lake. Organized groups can also make use of it's dining facilities. Two local hotels, „Piast” and „Adria” also provide cost-wise rooms for travellers.

The Civic Sport and Recreation Center organizes a number of recreational events in the city area, it also has a broad infrastructure of sport & water sport equipment, including tennis courts – allowing tourists to choose from a large number of ways of active rectreation.
 | Myślibórz enchants with it's beautiful location and with it's numerous historic buildings and monuments, bearing witness to it's rich, being over 700 years long, history. Worth seeing - remains of 14th century city walls, the Pyrzycka and Nowogródzka Gates, Prochowa Tower, Farny Church (13th century, rebuilt in 15th-16th century) with massive gothic tower, 17th century pulpit and altar. Former Dominican Order from the end of 13th century, City Hall from 1771, 13th century Jerulasem Chapel, Chapel of Holy Spirit (14th century), Chapel of St. Gertrude (15th century), Church of the Holy Cross - Sanctuary of Graciousness. |

Numerous smaller towns are located in the nearest area of the city, offering historic churches, manors and mansions, and manorial parks with rare and ancient specimens of trees and scattered boulders.
Three nature and wildlife preserves are located within administrative borders of the Myślibórz Commune: The Tchórzyno Peatbog Preserve (0.32 sq km), The Długogury Landscape Preserve (1.2 sq km) and The Jezioro Jasne Floristic Preserve (0,031 sq km)

For rest-preferring patrons a number of camping and barbecue sites have been prepared, located in the woods at lakeshores. (at the Myśliborskie Lake, Chłop Lake, Białe Lake and at the lake in Pszczelnik). All of the the sites have been equipped with sheds, benches, tables and hearths.
It is also a paradise for anglers, for the lakes overflow with many various species of fish: roaches, perches, eels, zanders, pikes, ablets. Lakes are also well-known habitats of numerous bird species: grebes, herons and even cormorants. Woods are abounding in ancient, monument trees, rich undergrowth and fair game (deer, wild boar, roe deer, fox). All four hunting communities located in Myślibórz arrage hunts for hunters from abroad.

Myslibórz is a samall, interesting and quiet tourist-friendly town, untouched by any industry. No doubt one can spend here his free time, fully enjoying unspoilt nature, away from busy and crowdy large cities.
